Postdoc in Hybrid Wood Species Design at the Royal Danish Academy

The vacant position is a 2-year, full-time position

Royal Danish Academy, in the Institute of Architecture and Space, at CEMAS - Center for Material Studies

  • Missions

The position is part of the research project ReForm. ReForm is focused on the analysis and design of hybrid wood species compositions by use of wood residues from industrial processing.

  • Skills

As a minimum, you hold a relevant master’s level degree and a PhD or PhD-level scientific qualifications at the starting point of the position.

We also expect that you:
-have a background in architecture, architectural technology or architectural engineering.
-have demonstrated previous studies focused on material studies, ideally related to wood species.
-have demonstrated previous computational design research, ideally including thermal simulation methods.

Please submit a letter of motivation (1 A4 page), an up-to-date CV (2 A4 pages), academic diplomas and certificates, documentation of your qualifications as listed above, a description of your research profile (1 A4 page) and a list of your published works, preferably including copies of works you wish to highlight (maximum five works). Any assessment(s) of previous postdoc positions held should also be enclosed.
